The anger does not evaporate, but it can be made to seem to, or to have other causes and objects. It if won't go away entirely, then a disguise will help. One possibility is to turn it against oneself: that way lies a lifelong conviction of worthlessness.

Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.
