If your surroundings become pleasant, we call it success.

Success is when you can use your self to your full potential. Success is when you live your life to your full potential.

Of course, the philistine can say, "Humph, so you call a lorry driver a success in life!" My own criterion of success is the ability to work joyfully and to live positively. Under that definition, most pupils in Summerhill turn to be successes in life.

Success to me does not mean degree and good jobs and fame; success means seeing a child come with a face full of hate and fear and in two years have a face full of life and happiness.
